“Angels may communicate with thoughts or by feelings.” Donald W. Parry
When I read Parry’s words, I wondered if any of my thoughts had been influenced by angels.
Amazingly I experienced the answer that very evening.
My husband and I checked in to a hotel with only one person working the front desk.
She was capable and yet under a lot of pressure checking in guests, answering the phone, preparing sack breakfasts for those who’d requested them, taking people to the pool (its use restricted because of the pandemic), and sterilizing the pool area after each use.
There seemed to be no end to her responsibilities, and yet she was managing it all efficiently.
As we came back through the lobby later that evening, I noticed it was still very busy for her.
I made myself some herbal tea to take up to my room, and had a thought to make some for the lady at the front desk.
That was my first thought.
My second, third and fourth thoughts were,
It might be awkward.
It could be uncomfortable.
Which tea? She may not like it.
I almost listened to those arguments.
But then I asked myself, what’s the worst that could happen?
She may not drink it. But if that’s the case, I could live with that.
As she returned from opening the pool for a couple, I handed her the herbal tea and said,
“This is for you, because you will never have the time to make one for yourself.”
What followed was more gratifying than I could have imagined.
She spontaneously embraced me and with her hand over her heart and tears in her eyes she said,
“No one has ever thought to do something like that for me!”
Later, when I passed through the lobby again, she told me that she’d had a headache, and sipping the peppermint tea had helped.
She said that because she can manage the front desk alone, she isn’t given the help of another person and feels bad that she may not be as patient with people as she’d like.
Once again expressed her gratitude.
Later that night I recalled the words I had read earlier that day.
“Angels may communicate with thoughts….”
I then had the impression, that that is exactly what had happened to me that day!
To take an herbal tea to the woman at the front desk was such a simple, direct and straightforward thought.
I could easily have ignored the thought.
I now recognize it as angelic communication.
Are you having similar experiences or opportunities?
Do you recognize that some thoughts that pop into your mind almost unconsciously may very well be from angels?
I invite you to open your mind and heart to that very empowering reality.
Much love,
And a message from Elder Dallin H. Oaks:
“Angelic messages can be delivered by a voice or merely by thoughts or feelings communicated to the mind.”

I love this and have long believed that many impressions to do good, to think of another, to choose kindness all come from angels. They help us notice and then act on what we might otherwise overlook.

I know. I love studying and learning about this subject! It is so fascinating and comforting.
