I had a most amazing experience the other day!
During two, unrelated conversations, I heard the exact same phrase from two different people! I was caught off guard each time because what was said is not a common sentiment, and it made my heart sing!
Would you like to know what I heard?
“I love my life!”
Both of these friends are regular people with the many ups and downs and challenges of life, yet they obviously chose to feel happy rather than succumb to the outward appearances of their problems.
Their enthusiasm was contagious and I thought to myself, “Can I make the same claim?” Do I love my life?
What about you? Can you say you love your life?” If not, what is keeping you from feeling the joy of a fulfilled and happy life?
Even before that day with these two friends, I had been studying and learning about human nature and the why and how of our thoughts and emotions. At one time in my life I had felt as if I was just “going through the motions,” but since that time I have learned how to create and experience the results of the conscious decision to live in joy!
Though this newsletter is not long enough to share all I’ve learned (and I’d encourage anyone who wants to go deeper to contact me), I can share a few pointers with you here.
Warning: These tips may seem simple and insignificant, but I can tell you, if you are consistent in applying them, they have the potential to alter your direction for a positive, fulfilling life.
- focus on all that is going right.
- refuse negativity in any form.
- express gratitude daily.
- know that everything happens for a reason and that reason is to assist you.
- trust there is a higher power that is aware of and concerned for your welfare.
Simple, yet powerful when applied consistently. Start by declaring each morning, “I love my life!” and see how the rest of your day unfolds. I’d love to hear your experiences and thoughts. And by the way, yes, I do love my life!
Here’s to your wonderful life!
