Today is Memorial Day here in the United States, a sacred and noble holiday.
It is the day set aside to remember and decorate the graves of those who have fallen in battle to preserve the freedoms of our country.
I hope you are able to share this day with loved ones and remember and enjoy the blessings of freedom.
Perhaps you’d like to include in your celebrations the lesser known custom known as the National Moment of Remembrance.
This is an opportunity to pause for one minute at 3 PM and remember those who have died in military service to the United States of America.
It is a special moment when we can join with others in a symbolic act of unity to honor the men and women who gave their lives to maintain the freedom and peace which we enjoy.
Wishing you a beautiful Memorial Day!
