Even before the pandemic I would sometimes go days without spending significant time outdoors.
Because I work from home I can spend hours at my computer wholly focused on my work.
The hours pass until it dawns on me that in my attempt to check just one more thing off my to-do list, I have neglected my mental, physical, and energetic health.
It’s even easier now, especially since the pandemic, to order just about anything online and have it delivered at your front door. There’s no need to leave home.
We attend meetings at home on Zoom.
We visit with family and friends online.
We often feel cranky and disconnected from ourselves and loved ones.
Our sense of well-being declines.
Without an intentional effort to connect with the outdoors, our emotional health suffers.
Countless studies show that nature heals.
Nature soothes and restores us. It reconnects us with ourselves and others.
Yet, it’s easy to forget how vital it is for our well-being to spend time outdoors.
It doesn’t take much to tap into nature’s goodness.
Something as simple as a fifteen-minute walk, sitting in the sun or pulling a few weeds can help us align our energetic health, which in turn, boosts our mental, physical and emotional health.
Being outdoors, especially into nature, is one of the most effective ways to raise our vibration and re-align our mental, and emotional health.
Though it currently may be a challenge, see what you can do today to connect with nature and be rejuvenated by the great outdoors!
Here’s to your energetic well-being!
