Have you discovered new truths recently?
Have you written them down?
I often think I would never forget something new I’ve learned because it is so meaningful to me.
Yet, invariably I do forget!
Have you experienced something similar?
This is how my self-talk goes:
“I know there was something I wanted to remember. What was that? It had something to do with…. Darn, I can’t remember! But it was so good!”
Sometimes it’s just a glimpse of an idea and if I don’t write it down immediately, it is lost.
Lately, as I look for lessons in everyday life, I’ve been given insights into human nature. Truths that I want to remember.
Here are a few things I’ve learned:
-There is often more than one right way to accomplish a task.
-People are more important than efficiency.
-People are more important than things.
-Some things aren’t as important as I thought.
-We often worry about the wrong things.
-We too often worry at all.
What truths have you discovered and want to remember?
Those insights may be for your children, grandchildren, friends or a larger audience. Or they may be just for you.
Would you write them down?
Give them a place to land so they can be remembered.
Much love,
