How do you feel about your daily routine?
Is it helpful? Supportive? Does it provide you with energy and enthusiasm for your day?
Or does it feel burdensome and heavy? Is it an annoying checklist that you dread working through?
If I’m not careful, I miss the mark when it comes to daily routines.
I can get caught up in the process of the routine and lose sight of the purpose.
Then I’m become busy spinning my wheels, but not getting where I want to be.
Does that ever happen to you? Do you ever get so intent on the doing that you lose sight of the why?
Not to worry.
It may be time to review and revise. And it can be as simple as a few minor tweaks or maybe a complete overhaul is necessary.
Either way, let some fresh air and new life enter into your daily routines.
Review to see if the routine is achieving your intended effect.
Is it providing you
- Energy for the day
- Enthusiasm
- Direction
- Improved ability, physical or mental
If it is, carry on.
If not, give yourself permission to change whatever will bolster your physical and mental health.
