How clear is your vision? How much fuzziness are you willing to tolerate? Not just with your eyesight but with your vision of life.
I asked myself these questions when a meeting I was attending began and I realized I could not clearly see the speaker. I had forgotten to bring my glasses.
I was annoyed because I dislike not being able to see well.
If you’ve ever had trouble with your eye-sight, you would understand that when your vision is sharp, clear and defined you feel more confident and capable, in charge of your surroundings. Seeing clearly makes you happy!
Not only does this apply to vision but to the clarity of your life’s direction.
Do you have a clear picture of what you desire in life or is it fuzzy? Are you just floating along with no clear direction?
There have been seasons in my life when I’ve muddled through, without a conscious purpose. Those are the times of frustration and discouragement. When everything seems too hard.
When I’ve been clear on my purpose and my work, I experience a level of peace and direction. I feel confident, capable and in charge of my life. I am happy.
Don’t let it deter you that you don’t know the specifics of what you want. If that’s the case, decide on the feeling you want to experience.
Whether you are determining your daily, weekly, or life-long purpose, begin with deciding how you want to feel.
Do you want to feel peaceful, enthusiastic, confident, loving, involved, empowered, secure, thankful, passionate, energetic, comfortable, fulfilled, satisfied, trusting? In any situation, you decide beforehand how you want to feel.
Once you decide and focus on the feeling you want to experience, your thoughts and actions will begin to lead to its fulfillment. The clarity and direction will come!
Here’s to your clarity of vision!
With love,
