I had a memorable trip to Alaska last week, not only because Alaska is beautiful, but because I experienced the power of creation!
It would have been easy for me to get nervous and worry about all that could go wrong.
I would be flying alone thousands of miles with numerous flights and layovers, renting a car, driving in an unfamiliar city, etc.
There were so many parts and pieces to plan.
And so much that couldn’t be planned.
Instead of worry though, I chose to create an experience of wonder and excitement.
How To Create
Before I left, I visualized with as much detail as possible, what I wanted to experience.
I had fun imagining:
-how I wanted the flights and layovers to flow
-the friendly people I sat next to on the planes
-good weather
-a comfortable rental car and airbnb,
-the exciting activities I’d do with my daughter.
And for those things I couldn’t specifically plan, I chose to believe that everything would be infused with peace and fun.
Whatever the circumstances I was going to have a great time!
And I did!
From an exciting dog-sled ride to a special 12-course chef’s dinner, to making new friends wherever I went, my experience was amazing!
Expecting The Best
Even those few things that didn’t turn out as planned were still great, just in a different way.
I believe that because I expected the best, that is exactly what I got!
The power of creation is real.
Our minds our powerful!
Our thoughts are the tools of creation.
I invite you to tap in to your ability to create, whether it’s a memorable vacation or just a peaceful day at home.
Have fun creating!
Love,
